Alan Cadiz, the founder of HST and long time professional sailor prior to that, is considered one of the world's best instructors for both windsurfing and kitesurfing.  His quiet, comfortable teaching style and mastery of his sports gives confidence and makes learning fun and easy.

Alan's "Jibing" video has been widely acknowledged as the best instructional windsurfing video ever produced.  If you are working on any of the jibe skills, beginner through advanced, we strongly recommend that you watch the video as much as possible prior to your lessons.  It will short-cut the learning process, guaranteed.

If he is not sailing or kitesurfing, Alan enjoys deep sea fishing in Maui's beautiful waters.  He is also an avid big wave surfer, tow-in surfer, paddle boarder and a great dad to his two daughters, Cady and Cloe.
